New vampire fashion from Shanghai!
Here’s a taste of vampire-inspired fashion which just stole the show (and maybe a few souls, rawr!) at the graduation gala of the famed Raffles Design Institute of Shanghai. But they’re not just the usual sexy-ass goth wear. No, if you’re a vampire, they’re actually practical, too: “At night,” designer Zhou Yifan tells Shanghai Daily, “[vampires] go to glamorous parties so I have created costumes with exaggerated details. However, during the day they need to look more normal. That’s why most of those details can be removed.” So for example, all the frilly ruffles and flowery fringes you see here are built to be taken off; that way, in the daytime, you can ride back to your coffin in your totally tinted limo without causing too much attention.
Now which of these numbers would you most like to see in City of Eternals?
