Update from weekend’s downtime
We’re sorry for our extended downtime today and over the weekend. We’ve missed you just as much as you missed us! There was a crash bug that we’ve now fixed. Thank you for your patience during our beta period (3x more stable than alpha era!)
There were a very small number of players whose player files were corrupted. We are going to have to restore your player data from backups. As a result, some data loss may occur, specifically with your inventories. We are going to restore what we can and will grant you some items, rubies and ohais to make up for the rest.
Our sincerest apologies for the extended downtime and for any lost player data. We’ll be restoring your characters as fast as we can to get you back in the game as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more news and feel free to post with questions.

Good news – I did suffer from many “loss of connection issues” – and my inventory seemed to hnag several times.
But i have reduced the items so it looks Ok now

Haven’t been able to log in since early yesterday evening (about 2100 GMT). Over the weekend I’ve had connection problems which seem to come and go. It now just sticks at “Logging in” when i try to enter the City
Hopefully you’ll have a word with my mnions before you let me back in, so they know it’s not my fault they haven’t been fed

We are just as upset as you guys are over this and are working hard on a solution. We will have an update as soon as we are close to implementing something to get you guys back in the game. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
Topic: City of Eternals – Access Problems
I have been unable to get access the game now for nearly two days; all I get is a “cannot upload your character” error message. Can you advise if and when this will be sorted!
A regular update on the blog will aslo be helpful to reassure users. It would also be helpful if you could put some information on how to get back what players loose as a result of this especially OHAIS, as we did have to pay for this

I know Randy, and did you hear what’s going to happen?? they say we will be loosing some items of the inventory, I sayid I f I lose My Claw I will not play again!!
awww….please please please not my rare items that i painstakingly got from those quests!!!! pleeeeease!! u can downgrade my stats but NOT my ITEMS!!

Got back in. My home had reverted, all the furniture I’d bought (and won from minions) was gone, and all my Ohais gone too.
Finally could log in
Everything is gone what i had, all my figthing gears, my clothes, my makings’s, my prestige level, and i’m a ‘male character!’ now … Had 44 prestige and was level 50 with real good equipement (on the top it looks like this, but on the lower side not
(.. The only good thing is that i have now place for 72 items.. Can even not open a new character to get my female back… Is this a bug or what’s going on

I got back in and I thought I was going to cry. The clothing I bought from the auction, my 2 (yes 2) omega claws gone!!!!! I had a lvl 75 omega claw and a lvl 95 that I begged from retired friends. A lot of my other weapons – gone. This is all that I could look at before I left. Maybe I’ll be back again later in the day to deal with the mess.
Everything gone! Back in the graveyard at level one! Good bye City of Eternals.
Got back in today too, and really scared to be back in The Haunting…..
@ Andrew: I finished the mission in the graveyard and the one in my house, went out into the city, and back home, very relieved to find all my furniture there (at leats the things I had already placed, cannot get in to redecorate, and the stuff is missing from my inventory list), Im back to my old levels fighting 93, prestige 82, and have all my points for making, harvesting and fighting, and all my weapons. So Maybe Andrew if you do The hauntin,g most of your things might still be there too.
I have however lost all my clothes !!!!!!
and most of the stuff in my slots
including a lot of furniture.
also rare items I bought for Ohais…… bummer!!!!
Would really like them returned. I miss my purple wedding dress and mostly my solemn coat/cape/dress thing like the one the druids in Central park wear
so sad….
Okay still sad after running around in the game for a while. I might be vain, complaying about clothes, when other people are missing fighting gera, bet hey! a vampire gotta look pretty too!
And Dear Team Ohai, since I actually spendt REAL money bying your ohais to buy a wedding dress an the solemn occultist robe in the first place, it would be really great to see them back or at least
the what : 1000-1200 ohais it cost to buy them. I appreciate the rubies, but it’s just not the same-
And then I hope I can go back to be what I used to be: A VERY active and happy player…..

I not long ago started playing Vampires as well as Werewolves and for some reason I’m not allowed to do the quest “Moving Day”.
It is continually coming up with error: couldn’t connect to server.
Now I am not an impatient man but in the last week I have tried to play the mission at least 20-30 times, now I know this isn’t something that happens frequently so I am wondering as to why I can’t play it for.
To the group of you who are missing ohais – we will fix this for you by today. I’m very sorry for the delay. We’ve been working hard on this behind the scenes.
