City of Eternals player of the week: Meet Diana, elite vampire violinist from the land of Dracula!
ohai all — meet Diana, a professional violinist who’s also an elite high level City of Eternals player. But here’s the best part: she plays our vampire game from Romania, formerly known as Transylvania, home of Count Dracula himself. When we ohais noticed her in the game, we just had to know more.
“I’m very fond of everything related to the word ‘vampire’, maybe because I’m from the country of Dracula,” she tells me. You can even see that in the title she’s chosen for her City of Eternals character. “I have an affinity for ‘the Impaler’ title (like the emperor Vlad’s moniker).” She also loves how vampires are among the few creatures to have “seduction as a weapon”. Diana discovered City of Eternals on Facebook, expecting to get bored after 30 minutes (as she does with most games), but wound up completing almost all the missions over three months, even as she prepared to take a violin exam for her Master’s degree. “I was very dedicated… considering the fact that I don’t have so much time for myself,” as she puts it.
Diana’s player stats: Fighting level 83, Harvesting level 76 (5/5/5), Making level 55 (4/1/4/3)

Her favorite elements in City of Eternals: “I like that all the skills depend on each other, that’s why I can’t tell which one is my favorite. I love the Making skill, so … I’m very happy when I buy or loot a new recipe (I learned almost 80.) I also like Harvesting, that’s why it’s been awhile since I mastered all its three [sub]skills, and because I needed it for Making.
“Fighting is the first skill any newbie gets contact with, and for me it was something really nice. I was able to control a fight…as a vampire! Then I learned how to defeat bigger level monsters: by attacking one by one separately, to avoid getting defeated. Afterwards I noticed that those ugly/stinky/disgusting/sick zombies could be defeated by attacking them from the distance and then running… Unfortunately this doesn’t work on maggots because they’re not as slow as zombies.”
Her musical career: “I’ve played the violin since I was 7 years old and now I’m in the second year of Master studies (I’ll graduate in June/July). I’m also part of a quartet called Passione… Actually, in March we’ll release our first album of chillout music, which I think will be perfect for a vampire club.”
