The LA Times has an interesting interview with Kevin Williamson, producer of the TV megahit “The Vampire Diaries”. Williamson also created the Scream movie trilogy and TV’s “Dawson’s Creek”, and unsurprisingly, has an interesting perspective on the psychology of vampirism. Example: “In our mythology, when you’re turning into a vampire, you’re confused. Your addiction to prey and to feed is mixed into your emotions, like love and lust and desire.”
